Southbound on a southern train-
Four Hundred miles through the rain-
I just rolled in to Louisville-
Later tonight I’ll be in Nashville-
But I don’t know, if I’m gonna stay-
But I know I can’t go back, the other way-
Into Nowhereville, into Nowhereville-
I spent my life dreamin’ my dream-
That’s singin’ my songs and being me-
I hope I find it here in Nashville-
I always thought this was Somewhereville-
But I don’t know, if they’ll let me stay-
But I know I can’t go back, the other way-
Into Nowhereville, into Nowhereville-
This is where I wanna stay-
I don’t wanna go back, the other way-
No I don’t wanna go back, the other way-
Into Nowhereville-
So here I sit and I’m feelin’ proud-
I’m singin’ my songs to a Sold Out Crowd-
I guess I made it here in Nashville-
I’m playin’ my songs in Somewhereville-
But I don’t know, how long I’m gonna stay-
But I know I can’t go back, the other way-
No I don’t know, how long I’m gonna stay-
But I know I can’t go back, the other way-
Into Nowhereville, into Nowhereville-
I’ll never go back....(C)Copyright 2007
